Food security aims is to have access of  food to the most valnurable people. SORD food security program consist two categories  which are relief food program and development of sustainale program. Agricultural field officers from SORD will advice the farmers on the best cost effective methods of farming so that they get maximum yields from their farms.This sustainable methods for food production, preservation and marketing the surplus food. SORD will also embark on a program of capacity building and empowerment so as to enable the communities to acquire skills and knowledge to upgrade their quality of life. The exercise will put emphasis on women and youth for income generating activities such as small scale enterprises for selling cereals, vegetables and fruits from their farm produce.

Agricultural programs are meant to help the local farmers with farming implements and seedlings so that they can start planting their farms. The aim of this project is to create food security. These activities entail the community participation in implementing this program and the organization shall provide food for work in the farms during these farming activities.
